Summer camp is about making new friends and growing in independence. It's about learning to appreciate the environment and the surrounding natural beauty; accepting responsibility and caring about others; living and working side by side in small camp community. It's about respect and developing trust. It's about feeling secure in a non-competitive atmosphere and wanting to try new things and succeeding. It's about self-esteem, about confidence, about growing up. Summer camp: it's about life.
