The Girl Scouts Heart of Central California Color Guard receives 20 or more requests annually to present our nations colors at opening ceremonies throughout our jurisdiction. The color guard opens meetings, sporting events, grand openings, dinners, luncheons, park dedications and parades.
Who is in color guard?
Color guard is an individual commitment and to join you must simply complete a registration form and attend Color Guard Attention training. (Dates and times are listed in the event calendar.)

Members receive many recognitions including an exclusive CG retreat, luncheon, and a recognition ceremony all sponsored by the council. Color guard participation patches and year rockers are also given to members who participate in at least five events during a membership year.
